Pika ichi is a manga focusing on a couple of introverted outcasts in their school who also happen to share a mutual interest in yakuza themed movies to take revenge on the people who torment them especially the studnet council who's behind alot of the bullying going on.
So the concept here is pretty interesting and not the typical shoujo one and its kind of like the manga othello in that sense.
The artstlye is pretty decent too and so were the character designs too.
The characters and motivations were generally fine too and I did enjoyed seeing the 2 leads interact with each other.
Atmosphere wise despite the concept, its not as heavy as the manga LIFE would be it has its cheesy moments in it from time to time.
It’s a fairly short manga so things can go by pretty fast in a day or so. About 29 chapters to be exact.
Overall it’s a decent manga.
It gets 4 out of 5 stars.
