Bludgeoning Angel Dokura Chan is an anime ova adaptation of the gag manga of the same name.

It focuses on Sakura living with the ultra violent angel Dokura who was sent to the future to “protect” him in order to make sure that he creates the ultimate immortal life where everyone is the same age and its a utopian world as a result of it.

The plot itself don’t really expect much of anything of it its just what it is entertainment for the masochistic type of people.

Its a very short series and it can take only about a day to finish it.

The comedy itself its very much the same material Sakura gets beat to death then gets brought back to life or is the punching bag for others too. If it isn’t that its usually 2000s era rockstar games humor from angel halo removal equaling to diaherra or perv jokes that even Shimoneta handled better.

The animation and art is ok but thats it just ok and there was a good amount of recyled animation in it too.

The characters are as flat as flat can be and seeing Sakura getting beat to death its just predictable and not even Berserk of all things handles violence like such a joke.

The music was ok too.

Overall it was an average anime.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
