Resident Evil 4 Remake is based on the original Resident Evil 4 and like before it focuses on Leon saving the president's daughter from the los iluminados cult and he must stop the cult from spreading the las plagas outbreak.
The game is mainly action oriented but still has elements of survival in it like the crafting stuff and also going around enemies to avoid risking damage.
the game includes a new target range where you gain rewards based on how well you did to help you survive in combat.
As is before you can visit the merchant to sell and buy stuff and upgrade your equipment.
Ashley is alot more helpful as she does mainly stuff like going around interacting with objects to help you solve puzzles and warn you of nearby enemies in contrast to the original. And you can also do side quests for the merchant too and find treasure and sell it to him.
You still have to keep an eye to make sure she is not kidnapped by cultists but other wise she is not going to be killed that easily unlike before.
The graphics are pretty good and so is the design of the world too.
The localization was iffy and not really that good either.
Overall it was a decent game.
it gets 4 out of 5 stars.
