Burn Up! Is a series of anime created by studio AIC.
It focuses on a elite group of police warriors fighting all kinds of crime especially terroism despite often being relegated into traffic duties.
The story itself isn’t anything special or unique and not so different to other stories like bubblegum crisis or you’re under arrest.
Much of the stories in the series are either remakes/reboots that form its own unique continunity or are standalone ovas.
The characters themselves are pretty bland and not really interesting either.
Lot of the comedy in the anime is just incredibly forced in and even in serious moments it just gets pretty distracting.
The action itself wasn’t really anything that special either.
The animation and art was generally fine.
The music was decent too.
Overall this was an average anime series.
It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
