Cogen Sword Of Rewind is a 2d platformer by Gemdrops.
The story revolves around Kohaku Otori who discovers a magical sword named ExeBreaker which has the power to rewind time. Kohaku has no idea why Cogen is destroyed and has to find out why. It focuses on going through stages being careful and timing right to proceed through them as one hit can often can get you killed but with the timer meter that refills over time. it gives you a chance to rectify your mistake. The gameplay can be quite finicky because of how easy it is to get killed but you can rewind time. There is no health meter.
The game is fairly short but fun. The graphics are quite good and the music is enjoyable. I also liked the artwork. The game has a new patch with an easy mode but can still be difficult due to the finicky nature.
Overall, it was an average game.
