Cosplay Complex

Cosplay Complex is a 3 part ova by the same team who did Hand Maid May it focuses on a group of cosplayers preparing for an upcoming cosplay contest against another high school also taking part in the contest. 

The plot is simple and for its time interesting enough. 

The art and animation was fairly decent too. 

The characters were bland and simple and not really fully developed either. 

There was a few plotholes and the story did unfortunately ended on a cliffhanger as if they were planning a full series only for it to be shelved at the last minute. 

Lot of the humor is just same jokes over and over again from awkward sexual related scenarios to slapstick comedy every few seconds or so. 

The anime does alot of references to other famous manga/anime series like BlackJack for example. 

The music was decent. 

Overall it was an average anime. 

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
