DearS

DearS is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same name. 

It focuses on humans making contact with aliens called DearS short for Dear Friends and TAkeya’s relationship with one called Ren and their life together while attending school. 

Takeya has a paranoiac fear of Aliens all because he saw a scary movie of them as a kid and he’s basically a wimp with alot of panic attacks while the others do the work for him. 

DearS is also a species based on master-servant relationships so if one befriends them they end up having a servant alien to help them in anything they need. 

The story itself isn’t really anything that special characters are as bland as bland can get and one particular character the teacher she was basically just a whore who just couldn’t stop sexually molesting Ren or grinding on any of their students every few seconds and theres no way at all she could be able to get away with being a porn actress and teacher at the same time especially today these days with a female molesting student epidemic just like how there is an immigrant rape epidemic too in places like the U.K these days. 

The animation itself is just average at best and the art is pretty decent too. 

The music was generally fine. 

Its a short anime too especially in the case it was still airing while ongoing at the time with the manga unfortunately like many 2000s era anime. 

Overall it was an average anime. 

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
