Goblin Slayer is an anime adaptation based on the novel series of the same name.
It focuses on the titular Goblin Slayer who makes it his mission to kill every single goblin in existence after his village was massacred by them.
He is soon joined by other adventurers in his quest to defeat the goblins and as time goes by, he joins his companions on new journeys.
The world is based around MMO stylization where characters are named by their class rather than a given name, similar to Monster Hunter. The goblins themselves are very evil as they commit numerous horrendous acts on others. Rape, brutal torture, cannibalism and any monstrous act they can conjure. The Goblin Slayer faces other threats in the world but he is laser focused on killing Goblins, everything else is secondary.

The only sensible and likable character in the series is the Goblin Slayer. Everyone else is just greedy and unintelligent and easily killed later due to their own arrogance. The action was predictable.
The animation and art was generally fine while the music was good too.
The story suffered from overused tropes; from humor having to be placed every few moments causing the inconsistent storytelling, to the power of friendship even though the story isn’t meant to be a stereotypical Shonen, it is supposed to be dark fantasy.
Overall, it was an alright anime.
It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
Once upon a time ago when this was relased, it was one of the most controversial anime in recent history at that time. But in reality, it was just really miserable puritan narcissistic psychopaths doing what they usually do and look for stuff to cancel just to get their dopamine seratonin rush off of having power and making others miserable as they are best thing to do is to remember gatekeep and bully these purtian freaks till they do what kazeolion and burntfishie did when they were thankfully bullied period.

"If I look at his poor grammar and comprehension of the English language, then I am inclined to deduce that he is most likely an Indian living in Canada.
Another gem from his Goblin Slayer review:
