Guardian Hearts

Guardian Hearts is an anime ova thats an adaptation of the manga of the same name and this was one of the many not so big library of anime that Venet has worked on before going inactive. 

It focuses on the life of Watari Kazuya who lives with girls from another world and his life and misadventures with them. 

The characters are nothing really that special. 

The story itself isn’t exactly all that unique for harem stuff as you can see somewhat similar premises like Date A Live with otherworldy beings as love interests today. 

Like many 2000s adaptation nope its not even a full storytelling sadly each episode was pretty short being about 15 minutes per episode. 

Lot of the comedy like alot of harem at the time and to this day focus alot on abuse of the main lead which just gets annoying and quite grating. 

Other humor revolves around jealousy which was pretty annoying too. 

The music was fairly decent and its how i learned about Sleepin Johnny Fish before they disbanded and long since faded into obscurity. 

The art and animation was alright. 

Overall this was an average ova.
