Hanaukyo Maid Team is an anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name.

It focuses on Taro who recently inherited a massive fortune from his grandfather, and the series focuses his life being pampered and taken cared of by his countless maids.

The characters themselves are pretty simple and nothing really all that speical or any different to any harem series there is out there.

The maids were all overeager to serve Taro in any way possible and the only sensible ones were Mirel the head maid and Kanoe the head of security due to them being levelheaded and not letting overeagerness get in the way of practicality.

Lot of the comedy isn’t that special either from the misophobic allergic reactions Taro gets to the occasional jealousy bouts and slapstick humor it wasn’t really that funny.

The misophobic allergies is only exclusive to the original anime which is what i watched, but not in the manga or reboot.

It was really just honestly unnecessary dramabaiting and forced in humor every few seconds.

The animation and art was generally ok.

The music was decent too.

Its not really a long series only about 12 episodes 15 minutes each.

Apparently its short length was due to production issues at the time.

Overall it was an average anime.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.

Don't expect a proper reboot or the full manga to be coming out any time soon due to unfortunate liscensing issues and, the manga team behind it now basically all dead like literally dead. I still rather take 2000s otaku pandering stuff like I've been watching lately over the seasonal shonentard hypebeast or misandristic femcel shojo brainrot any day.
