Hand Maid May

Hand Maid May is an anime original series by Pioneer that focuses on Saotome Kazuya, a computer genius and aspiring scientist and his expensive cyberdoll May. He orders a robotic cyber doll from Cyberdyne. May is very a very small doll and this leads to some hilarious interactions with Kazuya and his friends. 

The characters are as about as average as average and simple could get but very likable due to the amount of comedic antics they get into.  Kotaro is actually the comic, he is so funny you can’t help but laugh and enjoy his antics type of villainy similar to Robbie Rotten from Lazytown. 

The only character I did disliked was Rena due to how spoiled and bratty she was.  

The series is also something of a lighthearted homage to the Terminator series too with eventual time travel and Cyberdyne being named after one of the systems from the Terminator series. There is a lot of fanservice too which makes sense considering the nature of this series. The music is fairly decent while the animation and art were very excellent. Its quite a short series with only 10 episodes and I really enjoyed it. 

Overall it was an light and fun to watch.
