house of the dead 2 remake

The House Of The Dead 2 is a remake of the original second entry of the arcade horror series of the same name. The remake is true to the original: defeating the zombies and making your way to the boss fight.

 The bosses are unique and based of the chariot occult cards but the enemies lacked variety.

You can save survivors and occasionally earn bonuses from them or the destructive items you find throughout your playthrough.  

The voice acting was atrocious, and the way lines were delivered was unconvincing. The music was at least not as bad as the voice acting.

The graphics was really just weird to look at and the animations felt kind of awkward at times. The new level design and setting was interesting though.

You can equip bonus perks before missions to help you out. There was some replay value based on the routes you choose. It is a fairly short game.  

Overall, it was an average remake and one we could have done without. 

It gets 3 out 5 stars.
