Magical Girl Site is an anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name. Aya is abused and depressed and given to suicidal thoughts. She discovers as web site that confers magical powers on her and she must join forces with similar girls to find out what the nature of the web site. The story isn’t really anything special or unique. The focus is more on shock value than anything more substantial. With graphic violence, suicide and sexual assault, this anime can be off putting for some.
Each time the characters use their magical weapons too much they eventually die.
There are many time manipulation elements but it just gets confusing to follow after a while. The characters were bland and uninteresting. A lot of content was cut sadly due to the amount of stuff that was crammed in the story run time at 12 episodes. The art and animation were excellent, and the music was ok.
Overall, it was an below average anime.
