Please Teacher is an anime original series by Daume.

It focuses on student Kei Kusangi who one day sees a ufo crash in a nearby lake and an alien is aboard studying earth life an alien going by Mizuho Kusanmi and they get secretly married just to maintain cover and the story focuses around their lives as a married couple.

Kei has a particular psychological condition called a “standstill” which is a form of anxiety/panic attack where he remains still and unable to do anything and he currently lives with his aunt and uncle who take care of him due to his condition being incredibly rare.

The story is quite short only takes about a day to finish.

Its not really the most original either and the age gap thing honestly i had zero issue with as reality is, lot of relationships are age gap one thing between minor and adult thats an obvious no no but Kei is technically 18 its just the standstill that prevents him from aging that makes him look 16.

The characters were just meh thas it just meh they were all just bland as bland can get.

The music is alright.

The art and animation are generally ok.

The biggest problem i had was the amount of melodrama there was it just felt so forced in and just boring to go through especially with the amount of jealousy and bickering that goes on the anime hands wave as normal marriage stuff but reality is that stuff is actually grounds for divorce because it really isn’t that healthy to be jealous over every other person in the planet in fear that they may take your spouse be it male or female.

Its not the age gaps as other puritan old hags who are jealous of others for shows like these its the melodrama.

Overall it was an average anime.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
