sci-fi harry

Sci-Fi Harry is an sci fi horror anime series adapted from the manga of the same name.

It focuses on Harry an outcast in his school with psychic powers and how anytime he uses it, someone nearby dies with their necks often found twisted and it focuses around on how messed up psychicness can really be.

The artstyle i found well not really that appealing but thats the purpose knowing the story.

The music was pretty decent.

The pacing of the show is really slow even by mystery standards so you can’t really binge watch it easily in a day even with its 20 episode span.

(POV you went to a diddy party and the party goers jay-z and beyonce chose you for their freak offs while the corpse of biggie and aalyiah watches. But lol in all honesty fuck celeb culture and all of its aspects fuck the celebs fuck the worshipers or anyone of those normies who are into that kind of shit and fuck people like diddy period.)

I did liked the  somewhat unique concept and the atmosphere.

Then after a while things really pick up to the point it just feels rushed out especially to the end where it pulls off an gainax ending where it just leaves more questions than answers and alot of confusion too (maybe thats why gainax screwed themselves over other than just having lolcows in their team insulting the fanbases of the series as well.)

Dont expect much character development or anything interesting of the characters either its always the same kind of tropes you’d see over and over again.

Harry in particular he’s pretty much not any different to the dense indecisive romance mc or characters like Shinji or the lead from the devil survivor 2 anime adaptation and of course Harry too is something of an outsider too way more of a pushover too than Hachiman of all people.

The animation too its ok but it just felt pretty stiff even by low budget standards of the 2000s.

Like Shinji he’s basically a pawn in part of a bigger plan by some sketchy organization too so theres also that.

The voice acting is ok as well too.

Overall it was an below average anime.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
