Shining Tears X Wind

Shining Tears X Wind is an anime based on the Shining series of jrpgs by SEGA based on the Shining wind  and tears entries combined. 

The story focuses around a group of students from a nearby school investigating mysterious disappearances around Tatsumi Town and how it eventually leads them to another world and its up to them to stop this dangerous threat is going on in the other world. 

So its no different from the average isekai as even back then not just during the 2020 and 2010 period isekais had that kind of boring ass plot thats so overused. 

Its best to play the Shining games to get more enjoyment out of this series beforehand watching this. 

The characters are as bland and average as it can get. 

Its a fairly short anime about 13 episodes. 

Pacing wise its pretty fast and it crams in alot of information all at once knowing how much episodes there is and alot of the lore is put in the afterburner as a result relying on you to import the games from Japan since even the wikis are jack shit with the amount of information there is. 

The show has alot of characters sure but its often just falls in the background without being able to do much of anything. 

The music is pretty good. 

The art is good too. 

Overall it was an average anime. 

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
