Suikoden 1-2 hd

Suikoden 1-2 is an hd remastered port of the first two Suikoden games. 

It focuses on you gathering an army to defeat evil empires and the conspiracies and of course evil power gods that be that corrupt them with hundred plus allies to join you since its based off from Chinese epic journey to the west. 

Gameplay is turn based you and you allies can equip various orbs that give you bonuses and abilities that can help you in combat and its mainly random encounters. 

You can bribe enemies as an option in case you want to get away sometimes. 

Each ally you find has their own conditions to join you and your army. 

Sometimes theres one on one duels also with a rock paper scissors style to combat.

Theres gambling mini games and it can be a slog to go through them since its sometimes mandatory. 

Theres certain sections in the game where its you and your army vs the empire army in a rock paper scissors fight to defeat them. 

You can upgrade your weapons through blacksmiths as there isn’t really any weapons shop in the game. 

An auto save feature is also new. 

The game includes a town minimap but sadly none for the world overview either let alone an objective guide to tell you where to go. 

You can now choose which difficulty you wanna go for and import save data too. 

The games dialogue yeah its not the best its expected these days sadly knowing the pathetic state of lolcowlization.  

The art and graphics still holds up well today. 

The music is pretty good. 

overall it was a good remaster.
