the 90 to 10 percent rule

The 90-10 percent rule of entertainment. 

Y’know after a long while of watching,anime,reading manga/light novels and playing Japanese video games, you do develop preferences and tastes towards certain types of media of interest as well as views towards the state of it. 

And there always and i mean ALWAYS comes a point where you see something that really starts to be the milestone point in developing critical views into things. 

in my own personal case, was when in back in 2020 when i started getting more into the xeno series with xenogears 1 and 1 year later in 2021 when i played xenosaga for the ps2 then even eventually getting the entire collection even albeit imported from Japan like Xenogears as well for another copy just for my facination at the time with the series.  

I really got into it part of which at the time duing my obsession with final fantasy 7 initally being actually xenogears like parasite eve was before it got turned into different ips one being its own original and the other being follow up to a book series like the smt games and evolved into its own ip and as far as i know unlike Andrez Sperslopfaggot the creator of the witcher didn’t had a bitchfit over royalties and getting too greedy due to soyflix and the games being a thing lol.  

Xenogears featured alot of stuff that at the time was pretty unconventional and even still to this day not really done so much in jrpgs from the philosophical shit to its sci fi fantasy setting with mechs and zombie hunting weltails to the dialogue and also sadly lot of missing content that had to established in perfect works even if the game had lot of missing shit that really should have been added it still holds to me as the one jrpg that really made me look more so hard on what i look at even to this day. 

Anime and manga wise it has to be Satoshi Kon not Ghilbi or Comix Wave its always him because its always unique original and provacative and the way he writes female characters would make any shojosei mangaka seethe and kill themselves because of their own femcel misery and jealousy lol but for real he’s just that good. Perfect Blue still holds up super well to this day because of how fucked parasocial shit really is especially nowadays with the internet and Paprika is a facinating psychological study into the human mind as well too. 

And now after a while I've been taking simply a break from reading manga and watching anime all the time and to reiterate which i will also do as well later on the article, i will absouletly still only watch anime just as i do with j dramas and read manga/lns and also play only Japanese video games all the time but these days i rather be very very selective with what i look at.  

And thats where the 90-10 percent rule i came up with comes around. 

You see 90 percent of entertainment in general its either that or that and nothing in between at all whatsoever, in this case what im referring to is 90 percent of it being slop that is total dogshit or just middling average boring and lame and cringe with no real reason to exist at all.  

LIke literally im dead serious, its basically the entire catagory of shonen jump stuff that is being published hell even shojo seinen and josei have that as well since im not limiting it to just one demographic full of shit, like back then i thought nana was pretty cool because of the punk stuff but now honestly its just femcel and doomer slop like goodnight punpun or paradise kiss.  

And now just because of recent i have enjoyed the gunvolt games doesn’t mean that im going to be like a preditor and be evasive and blind and go start sperging out about it being 100 percent perfect its honestly dogshit storywise but gameplay wise it is pretty fun so that falls on the latter of being just average at best the best being the gameplay while the lower demoninator part being the story. 

And the rating scale as of late for my reviews its been pretty much just 3s for it being middling meh stuff, 4s because its the average at best 5 for being the 10 percent and 1 because its just useless in addition to it being middling. 

Even a 10 could devolve into a part of the 90 percent either cause of the need to milk it and its eventual inevitable enshitfication due to it being bigger and getting retards come in like ff7 was intially part of the 10 for me but now its part of the 90 due to the remakes and need to milk shit so dont expect full stabitly either for the most part when it comes to the 10 percent. 

Uwuslop is still slop and just cause something is edgy doesnt really mean its fully transgressive its really just safeedgy just for the sake of it being unfortauntely comercialized just to keep the cancerfest of slop going.  Girls Und Panzer is really just cod for weebs who still want to be seen as cool normalfags only just to be insufferable retards in reality and lucky star being bizzarely femcel bait now because of femcels oddly attaching themselves to the characters and developing r/waifuism parasocial relationships with them so yeah bizzare and disasterous shit all across the board if you ask me. 

Stuff that can be considered part of the 10 percent has to consider these personal factors 

-must be unique or at the very very least somewhat unique 

-must remain niche underground stuff 

-it must stick to what it should do best for the story and have a complete satysfying start and end all the way through unlike what manga/anime is doing lately with the gainax enshitfication of dogshit endings going on lately due to editorial interference with milking shit out fucking up the original story or the creators getting lazy and just plowing through to till the story ends as a result of rushed fuckery.  So adaptations could be ruled out for it being part of the 10 percent especially 2000s ones from madhouse and gonzo and jc since they were super busy with that type of stuff. 

Keep in mind though i totally fucking hate wokies and i still love the 90s and 2000s era of anime since there was alot of good stuff i could remember looking at because of it being part of the 10 percent and even if something is part of the 90 percent like ouran and its a discourse magnet for femcels, im still going to bully a femcel  cringe till they fuck off like kazeolion or burntfishie with the bridge if they keep on making discourse faggotry which is all beyond pointless anyways and still always important to avoid wokies and other cringetards at all times too keep in mind as well so yeah still love the 90s and 2000s era of japanese entertainment with alot of 10 percent stuff coming out but i still fucking hate slop and wokies and tradcons at the same time to as well. And i still to this day completely avoid any and all fandoms at all fucking times. 

• It also has to be not some cryporn shitfest like  assination classroom anohana,a silent voice or your lie in april like those shit are pretty much bait for r/childfree r/aninatalist and r/regretfulpaents to look at in other words for doomers by doomers because thats where lot of them go at apparently. 

• It has to have a unique feel to it like denpa being trippy and edgy like needy streamer overload  

• Finally It also has to be simply put actually self aware its pure fictional and 100 percent entertainment not pretenoious bs like a24 or anything that comes off as r/im14andthisdeep. 

One other thing i should mention is that, im getting older like incredibly incredbly old im still pretty much completetly the same anti social reclusive edgelord neet first last and always all of my life period and nothing at all is ever going to change in any single second nanobit period i always known that im not going to cover every single thing possible its just not realistic especially since lately i have my hands full with taking care of aging parents including myself too with me pretty much one day going to be even more housebound than ever to the point where i can’t leave the house anymore and the only time i could really use the internet would be for bill paying and online shopping for necessities other than games not for current events at all obviously since its pretty obvious i have 0 total interest in any and all of them considering the state of my health these days can be described as one word as passive at best albeit on the decline side since im already getitng health issues of my own these days that long story short its going to effect me alot in the long term as i don;’t really plan on sticking to the internet forever one day im going to retire from it entirely including the anti woke  weebplaces that im only am on these days and also from this site in general because of my advancing age these days so yeah long story short geiarticism is inevitable for me in addition to thankfully dying alone in my sleep soon one day. 

In aditionally finally, also because in addition my own personal decisions comes first on what i look at, not cause some tourist told me so or anyone else told me so i at the end of the day have to look into my own decisions in what im going to look at not cause of fomo faggotry i dont play that shit at all whatsoever. 

So yeah at the end of the day im just simply going to keep on sticking to my preferences first last and always all the time period and also just keep on sticking to the 10 percent rule at all times too period so thats really it for this article so cya around if im ever still going to be alive to be around that is.
