The legend of heroes trails beyond the horizon is the latest entry of the trails series.
It focuses on the main cast in calvard once again caught up in a conspiracy and its all tied towards an ongoing space race thats happening in Zemuria.
The story is atypical of the average trails series nothing really that special and a whole lot of filler here and there to pad the story time.
The combat is the same as before mixing real time and turn based options but theres slow time features where you can damage enemies alot by slowing time action. And you can also use it in turn based combat for bonuses.
Theres the marchen garten which is a way to grind for bonuses and experience. Its pretty similar to the reverie stuff and the gacha elements from before.
As before you also can do acking and other mini games like from daybreak 2.
Like before you can gather recipes but now you can upload blog reviews of them in game for currency.
The localization like the previous entries is incredibly atrocious.
You can get achievements like before for rewards.
You can do requests like before but in the end it has no impact to the main story.
The graphics and art is as good as ever.
The game did had some technical hiccups like it crashing on me every few hours or so.
Overall this was an average game.
It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
