Trigun is an anime adaptation based on the manga series of the same name.

It focuses on the adventures of Vash the Stampede in a wild west like planet and Vash is basically one of the most wanted people in the planet as everywhere he goes something chaotic is always blamed on him even though its technically not his fault.

The animation and art still holds up well to this day.

The story is super inaccurate and strays alot from the manga from what i have looked up online a case with many anime at the time period it came out in.

Its for the most part pretty procedual and episodes are more or less the same.

The only characters i found interesting was the misanthropic nihilist group of assassins the gung ho guns because they are pretty much the only “sane” ones in a sense considering how trigger happy impulsively greedy the galaxy is so better to see it burn down than to live another day in delusion of a better life there.

Vash is way too goody goody and naive for his own good considering how messed up the world he is around him.

Also funny how Vash has a do no harm principle yet so many people ironically suffer as a result of his lack of willingness to kill not even Akane from Psycho Pass in later seasons was like that either.

The comedy did come off as forced and more or less the same kind of jokes too alot of the times with jokes being crammed in every few moments.

The action is predictable too and not really all that high stakes either.

The music is pretty decent too.

Overall it was an ok anime.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
