Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition is a remaster of the spin off entry of the same name for the wii u to the switch.

It focuses on a group of space explorers colonizing an alien world after earth is now no longer habitable.

You play as one of the members of the blade unit whos goal is to explore mira and colonize it and gather resources.

The story itself isn’t really anything that special as sci fi stories like that are done before alot.

You can customize your character and choose what class you like to play as and also unlock more classes as time goes by.

Like before in the xenoblade games its automatic combat and you can choose which skill to use to help you in combat.

Lot of the interface and gameplay was tweaked from wii u features to make it more streamlined for the switch including a level cap increase.

The game has dialogue choices but it all plays out the same at the end with the story rendering it all pointless.

Theres also multiplayer stuff too but im not interseted at all in that so not going to bother with it.

The music itself was pretty good.

The graphics and art are pretty good too.

You place resources sateltites that give you various bonuses depending on which one you choose.

The game suffered from alot of censorship and also bad lolcowlization too.

Since its a remaster like in xenoblade definitive edition theres a bunch of new story content too for those interested.

The game did felt quite sluggish from time to time.

Overall it was an ok game.

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
