Hundred Line The Last Defense, is one of the latest games made by Too-Kyo games with assistance from Media Vision.

ree

Originally it was Limit X Desapair before it was reworked into Hundred Line.

This game focuses on a group of students, who must defend themselves from a mysterious group of aliens and find out the truth why they are invading.

The game utilizes a mixture of visual novel danganronpa esque elements considering many of what Too Kyo games has made as of now, are spirtual sucessors of a sort from the former danganronpa team and tactical jrpg elements too.

Like in danganronpa you can give gifts and bond with characters for bonuses to help you in combat.

Your allies do recovery throughout the waves periodically and if you have the safety feature on they recover health after each turn.

The goal of the game is simple protect the generator or an ally from the enemies through waves of them.

There is alot of callbacks and references to danganronpa just like with RainCode.

Theres a board game exploration where you can find resources and battle enemies as you are on your way to reach your goal.

The characters themselves are just atypical cutouts you can see in any other danganronpa game so much so its just gotten pretty stale now at this point.

You can grind outside of battles to help you earn battle points to improve your stats.

The art and the 3d graphics are as decent as ever.

The music is pretty good.

The game has alot of endings and wrong choices can lead to a game over.

The game does have its issues, like before with Raincode the localization is atrocious and the amount of humor coming up every few seconds is incredibly annoying too like it was with Raincode.

Overall it was an alright game.

It gets 4 out of 5 stars.

The game like raincode at this point you can consider to be danganronpa sequels especially considering spoilers the neverending killing games of danganronpa 3 “allegedly”
