Death mark 2 is the latest entry of the Death Mark series.
Like before it focuses on investigating paranormal ghostly incidents this time its confined to a school where you have to solve multiple mysteries relating to the gruesome incidents related to the ghosts.
Unlike the point and click style of the previous games this utilzes an animated 2d style of exploration.
Like before theres events where you must combat and exorcise ghosts and also choose options to help you confront them the higher the percentage the higher the sucess rate incombating them.
The investigations are conducted together with one of several partner characters; depending on which is chosen, the player has access to different locations and items. Each character has a set of statistics, which in the player character's case can be increased.
Pacing wise it can be a slow burner too.
You can find eerie teeth to help you level up your character to make it easier confronting ghosts.
Theres some replay value like multiple endings depending on how well, you confronted the ghosts.
The art is as good as ever.
The music was pretty good too.
Overall it was an alright game.
It gets 4 out of 5 stars.
