Azure Striker Gunvold pack is a remastered Switch port of the first two Azure Gunvolt games from the 3DS version. The games were developed by Inti Creates as a spiritual successor to Megaman. It focuses on Gunvolt, who must stop evil corporations and other groups of specially enhanced humans known as Adepts from doing terrible things.
Storywise, it is not really the most original as there is other cyberpunk themed related works out there that follow similar themes. It is actually close to what the latest Megaman Dark Force game was on the DS before it was cancelled.

Gameplay is a straight forward reach to the end of the level while avoiding obstacles, defeating enemies and defeat the boss at the end. The combat is easy for beginners.
The game doesn’t have any cheap deaths during exploration like the Bottomless Pits in the original. You are graded based on how well you did from medals you found and to how quickly you finish it and there is some challenges too that rewards you based on how well you did.
You can customize your equipment and abilities and buy more stuff with the materials you find throughout the game.
The level designs were unique and interesting. The graphics and art were also excellent while the music was enjoyable.

The controls were solid, and the remaster introduces a rumble feature. The bosses can be a hit or miss.
Some of them are straight forward enough to defeat, while others were annoying to fight considering how they sometimes spammed attack a certain move or were just jumping around all over the place making it tricky to get them.

The characters were bland and not memorable. The game has multiple endings depending on the route you take or how close you are with allies. You can replay the game as there is good replay the value.
The game suffers from really bad localization from the use of dated internet slang that does not go well with the dialogue, to straying far from the original translation, which is incredibly bad.
The second game has Coppen who plays similar to Gunvolt but with different abilities and levels. Occasionally, if you do fall in battle you can get anthem to resurrect you.
The remastered games have all of the DLC (Something you would never see with todays sega/atlus games because of the retards who buy it and the retards who run the company) included and the Switch version has an exclusive feature where you can use the Amiibos to give you special bonuses.
The music in both games were pretty good.
Overall the game was a pretty good remaster.
It gets 5 out of 5 stars.
Normally these days i don't really give 5 stars that easy but gameplay wise i just had alot of fun with it and i have a softspot for Japanese indie pixel games like this and needy streamer overload so i had a good time with this.
