Deaths End Request

Deaths End Request is a jrpg by Idea Factory.

it focuses around a mmo called “Worlds Oddesy” and the characters trying to escape from it and find out the mysteries behind it. 

The game has a hybrid of genres, from classic jrpg,first person shooter and visual novels which is a pretty bizzare mix having first person shooters as part of the genre mix. 

Combat wise its mainly turn based just defeat the enemies and thats about it. 

The game is notable for its horror like feel and incredibly graphic descriptions of violent events happening if you make the wrong choice leading to bad endings which the game has multiple of them. 

The story is basically an edgier version of .hack and the characters are as tropey as tropey can get. 

Each part of the game in between you have to solve puzzles in either the real world or in Worlds Oddesy to progress through to reach where you are headed. 

The music was pretty good. 

The art was good too. 

The game did had some technical hiccups occasional slowdowns and somewhat lenghty loadtimes and the asset reuse that Idea Fucktory is notorious for is as prevalent as ever. 

Graphics in particular just looks average even ps3 and ps2 games of before this game came out looked better than what idea fucktory has put out.

Overall it was a below average game with some interesting aspects to it.
