Radiant Tale Fanfare is a fandisc that takes place after the events of the previous game. It has the same kind of quirky lighthearted tone of the first game.

The story is about a group of circus performers who are trying to save a circus from closing. It contains 3 modes of play from the common and best routes of the previous game, and the interludes, which are side stories that take place during the events of the first game. The stories were fairly short and only take about an hour or so to get through all of them.

It is best to play the original beforehand to really get more enjoyment out of this game. The music is excellent as well as the art. The characters are the same as the previous game and just as charming.

The localization is pretty much the biggest complaint about the game from the use of gen-z slang that gets dated. This just wasn’t a good fit for the game.

If you’re looking for other extras like how Norn9’s Fandisc had a pixel style jrpg game or interactive content like Jack Jeanne, there isn’t any unfortunately.

Overall, this was an alright fandisc.

It gets 4 out of 5 stars.
